Description
U.S. Bridesburg 1864 Percussion Musket with Bayonet.Unserialized, .58 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Lock marked: 1864, (eagle) and U.S. / BRIDESBURG. Case-hardened hammer. Smooth hardwood straight stock with sling swivels and three barrel bands. Metal ramrod, triggerguard and US stamped buttplate. Socket bayonet with 17-inch blade and leather scabbard.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with signs of handling wear and surface rust. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore.
