Description
Tower Marked Brown Bess Flintlock Rifle with Bayonet.Unserialized, approximately .76 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Lock marked: TOWER and (crown) / G.R. Smooth hardwood stock with sling swivels and metal ramrod. Brass triggerguard and buttplate. Sold along with socket bayonet with 13-inch blade.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina, with heavy signs of age, handling wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Pitted bore.
