Description
Tower 1863 Half-Stock Percussion Rifle.Unserialized, approximately .68 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Lock marked: (crown) and 1863 / TOWER. Smooth walnut straight stock. Metal ramrod and brass buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with noticeable areas of thinning, handling wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Crack to right side of stock at buttplate. Noticeable repair and wood loss at wrist. Action functions. Pitted bore.
