Rare London Barbar Flintlock Blunderbuss.

Unserialized, approximately 1-inch bore diameter, 15-inch brass barrel with flared muzzle. Top of barrel marked: LONDON, along with two English proof marks. Lock marked: BARBAR. Smooth walnut straight stock with brass triggerguard and buttplate. Wood ramrod.
The blunderbuss was known for its distinctive flared muzzle and its role as a close-quarters weapon, particularly for defensive purposes. The Barbar family of gunmakers, especially James Barbar and his father Lewis Barbar, were highly respected gunsmiths based in London.

Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing light handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Some loss just below lock. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore.
