Description
Pennsylvania Rifle Works Percussion Plains Half-Stock Rifle.Unserialized, .40 caliber, 36-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Light scroll and fowl scene engraved to top of barrel. Lock marked: PENNSYLVANIA / RIFLE WORKS, along with scroll and fowl. Checkered hardwood stock with decorative brass furniture and hinged patchbox to right side of stock. Wood ramrod.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action not working. Lightly pitted bore.
