Description
Lindsay Double Hammer Percussion Rifle.Unserialized, .58 caliber, 41-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammers and trigger. Smooth walnut full-stock. Three barrel bands, each marked: U. Sling swivels. Metal tulip head ramrod. Metal triggerguard and carbine butt.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with honest handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Left hammer is frozen in the cocked position. Lightly pitted bore. From the Collection of Dr. Phillip R. Rutherford
