Engraved Felix Meier Half-Stock Flintlock Fowler.
Unserialized, .58 caliber, 39-inch octagonal and round barrel with fixed front sight. Elaborately scroll and scene engraved lock plates. Lock marked: FELIX MEIER and IN WIENN. Smooth walnut straight stock with decoratively engraved brass fittings and furniture. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 1649 / MEMORIAL.
Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina, with scattered signs of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising to stock. Action crisp. Strong bore. Please note: further inspection shows various wood repairs and minor cracks to stock, also gun is a smoothbore and not rifled.
