Description
Enfiled Tower 1862 Percussion Rifle with Bayonet.Unserialized, .58 caliber, 38-inch barrel with fixed front sight, bayonet lug and adjustable rear sight. Lock marked: (crown) and TOWER / 1862. Various proof marks to left side of barrel. Nipple cover. Smooth hardwood stock with sling swivels and leather shoulder sling. Brass triggerguard and buttplate. Metal ramrod. Socket bayonet with 17-inch blade.

Condition: Good. Finish primarily a plum grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable bruising, dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Pitted bore.
