Description
C.S. Richmond 1862 Percussion Rifle.Unserialized, .68 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Lock marked: 1862 and C.S. / RICHMOND, VA. Smooth hardwood straight stock with sling swivel, three barrel bands [each stamped: U] and metal ramrod. U.S. marked carbine buttplate.

Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood, with some wood loss along edges. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
