Description
British Tower Flintlock Saddle Ring Carbine.Unserialized, approximately .70 caliber, 17-inch barrel with three British proofs to left side. Lock marked: TOWER and (crown) / GR. Saddle ring. Smooth walnut full stock with brass furniture and ramrod. Brass escutcheon with engraved bird on top of wrist. Brass buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled dark grey patina with wear and pitting present. Wood showing scattered scuffs, dings and trivial pin holes. Action functions.
