Description
British 3rd Model Brown Bess Flintlock Musket. Original flint barrel is dark with light surface rust, deep proofs. "GR" Crown "Tower" marked lock gray with dark areas, frizzen screw, upper jaw and jaw screw replacements. Brass fittings excellent. Stock is proof stamped and dated 1800, cracked from the side plate around to the lock, there is a 1/2" X 1/2" wood plug repair on the right side and a strip of replaced wood extending behind the barrel tang 3/4" X 3 1/2".Auction Info
