Description
British 1859 Enfield Percussion Rifle.Unserialized, .58 caliber, 32-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear ladder sight. Lock marked: (crown) / V.R. and 1859 / ENFIELD. Smooth walnut stock with two barrel bands, two sling swivels and shoulder sling. Brass triggerguard and buttplate. Metal ramrod.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled grey patina with scattered signs of wear and pitting. Noticeable dings and bruising to stock. Action crisp. Strong bore.
