Description
Belgian Tanner & CTE Percussion Musket.Unserialized, .69 caliber, 40-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear ladder sight. Blued finish. Walnut stock with three barrel bands, two sling swivels and ramrod. Lock marked: TANNER & CTE / LIEGE. Right side of stocked stamped with a circled JC, (crown) / TFC and TANNERS & CTE / LIEGE cartouches. Metal buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled grey patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Stock showing heavy wear and some wood loss at edges. Action crisp.
