Description
Belgian Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun, Possibly a Salesman's Sample or Boy's Rifle.Serial no. 4320 [under barrels and action], .410 gauge, 18-inch barrels. Blued finish. Top of barrels marked on rib ANDR. AUG, AHL, BONN. LGE proof marks present under barrels along with other proof markings. Wooden pistolgrip stock with checkered forend. Carved buttstock with hunting scene. Horn buttplate.
Condition: Good as refinished. Barrels and action reblued. Surface rust present around rib, internal parts and under barrels near the muzzle [significant]. Stock with numerous dings. Carving and checkering good. Stock has full break around wrist. Action needs work, right hammer is working, left is not. Bores appear ok but dirty. Collection of a Southern Gentleman.
