19th Century English Percussion Saddle Ring Double Barrel Carbine. Unserialized, approximately .54 caliber, 19-inch round rifled barrels with blade front and 4 flip up rear sights. Blued finish. Both sides of lock marked: SWINBURN & SONS/1860. Saddle ring present left side of action. Hardwood stock with two sling swivels. Right side of buttstock with steel patch box marked: JACOB'S RIFLES. Condition: Very good as refinished. Barrels retaining approximately 80-90% of an old re-blue. Hammers with traces of case-colors. Locks, furniture and patch box a smooth mottled gray-brown patina with scattered patches of fine pitting. Wood fair to good with dents, staining and moderate soiling. Bores good. Action good.
