Comprising: 1.) U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 382163, .45-70 caliber, 22-inch barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Saddle ring. V / P / (eagle head) / P to left side of barrel. Smooth walnut stock. Metal carbine butt with storage compartment. 2.) Unmarked leather saddle with 12-inch seat, U.S. marked saddle bags. U.S. marked bit. Canteen and leather holster. 3.) Pair of Leather Boots. Dated: April 15, 1941. Size 9 1/2D. Condition: 1.) Very good. Finish primarily a smooth dark grey patina, with noticeable signs of handling wear, thinning at muzzle and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising to wood. Action crisp. Lightly pitted bore. 2. & 3.) Overall showing normal use, age and storage wear.
