Description
Lot of Two Winchester Model 62A Slide Action Rifles.Comprising: 1.) Serial no. 139401 [receiver and lower tang], .22 caliber, 23-inch round barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and grooved fore-end. 2.) Serial no. 141054 [receiver and lower tang], .22 caliber, 23-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and grooved fore-end. Each with checkered factory hard rubber butt. Each manufactured in 1942.
Condition: 1.) Good. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scuffs, scratches and dings present to wood. Noticeable rubber loss to base of butt. 2.) Good. Retaining approximately 40-50% finish with scattered handling wear and pitting. Minor scuffs and dings to wood. Actions good. Strong bores.
