Description
Winchester Third Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial No. 550567, .44-40 caliber, 20-inch round barrel and fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Saddle ring on the left side of the frame. Smooth walnut stock and forearm. Carbine buttplate. Manufactured 1900. Condition: Fair. Uniform brown patina with some light surface pitting. Stock with old varnish layer and with a small piece of wood absent on the lower side of the butt at the buttplate. Bore dark and dirty.Auction Info
