Description
Winchester Third Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. 421319B, .38 W.C.F. caliber, 28-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Dust cover. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Manufactured in 1892. From The Estate of Ronald Martin.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered signs of wear and patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising to wood. Large scuffs with some wood loss to right side of stock. Cleaning rod absent. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
