Description

Winchester Second Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 352634B, .32 W.C.F. caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent butt. Manufactured in 1890. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark brown age patina with scattered wear, scratches and pitting. Dust cover absent. Some screws marred or replaced. Wood showing scuffs, dents and bruises. Right side of stock has poorly done carvings, including "1897". Pitted buttplate. Action is good. Dark bore.
