Description
Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine.Serial no. 332238, .30 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Case-hardened hammer and lever. Peep sight to upper tang. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Metal carbine butt. Manufactured in 1905.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 15-20% finish, the balance a dark grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Some thinning to relief edges. Noticeable dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood. Crisp action. Strong bore. Collection of a Southern Gentleman.
