Description
Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 136863, .30 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch round barrel with aftermarket elongated bead pedestal front sight and ladder-type rear sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Aftermarket Lyman tang-mounted peep sight. Walnut stock and fore-end. Carbine buttplate. Manufactured in 1898.Condition: Good. Metal with mottled grey-brown age patina with scattered light pitting and spotting overall. Slight traces of blue finish remaining around saddle ring. Wood with light wear and bruises. Small sliver chip at right side of wrist. Action good. Bore pitted and dark.
