Description

Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle.
Serial no. 237539, .32 W.S. caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and 50 & 100 yards rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and lever. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1902.
Note: This was the first year that the model 1894 was made in this caliber.

Condition: Good. Retaining traces of finish, the balance a smooth grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Scattered dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Strong bore. All proceeds to benefit educational programs at The Bryan Museum.
