Description
Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 162677, .30 W.C.F. caliber, 26-inch round barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Stock decorated with brass nails reading: 5 E / N / 4 / T. Crescent butt. Manufactured in 1899.Condition: Fair. Retaining approximately 15-20% thinning finish, the balance a grey and brown age patina with scattered wear and patches of pitting. Wood showing heavy scuffs dents and bruising. Wire wrap repair and some wood loss at the wrist. Large crack to right side of stock. Action is good. Dark bore.
