Description
Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 453706, .25-35 W.C.F. caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with standard front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent butt. Manufactured in 1907.Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 60-70% thinning blue finish on the barrel. Magazine tube now mostly a thin gray-brown patina with a couple of small dents. Some blue in protected areas. Receiver a gray metal with signs of having been cleaned and showing scattered patches of fine pitting. Stock very good as possibly re-varnished with scattered dents and handling wear. Action and bore are good.
