Description
Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. 36151, .38-56 W.C.F. caliber, 28-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1889.
Provenance: The Don Otterson Collection.
Condition: Excellent as refinished. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scuffs, dings and scratches dispersed to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
