Description
Winchester Model 1876 Lever Action Rifle. Serial No. 4895, .45-75 caliber, 28-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blued finish. Straight walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Manufactured 1878. Condition: Good. Mottled grey patina with some light surface pitting and wear along the high spots. Scattered blemishes with a rather large bruise on the right side of the butt. Sound mechanical action. Bore dark but the rifling remains strongAuction Info
