Winchester Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine.

Serial no. 142022A, .44 caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear ladder sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Dust cover. Saddle ring. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Metal carbine buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Manufactured in 1883.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered areas of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Cleaning rod absent. Action good. Lightly pitted bore. Property from the James R. Glascock Collection.
