Winchester Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 356572B, .38 caliber, 20-inch barrel. Blued finish. Walnut stock with carbine buttplate. Condition: Poor to fair. Steel a heavy brown patina with staining and pitting. Saddle ring absent. Multiple heavy mars to elevator which obliterate all but the numeral 3. Screw behind elevator absent. Lever loose and action needs work. Stock with numerous dents and gouges retaining only traces of varnish. Dark, pitted bore.Auction Info
