Description
Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial No. 15789, .44-40 caliber, 20-inch round barrel integral front sight on the front band and non-adjustable leaf rear sight. Blued finish. Thumb print dust cover. Straight walnut stock and fore-end. Curved metal buttplate with storage cover and cleaning tools. Manufactured 1876. Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 20-25% finish the remainder with a mottled brown patina. The metal with a few areas of light surface pitting and scratches.
