Description

Winchester Model 1866 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine.
Serial no. 163133, .44-40 caliber, 20-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and rear ladder sight. Saddle ring. Case-hardened lever and hammer. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Metal carbine butt with cleaning rod reservoir. Manufactured in 1884.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of wear and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Two large repairs to right side of stock and one to left side of fore-end. Cleaning rod absent. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
