Serial no. 120542, marked .22 Long R, 28-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear ladder sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. One barrel band. Finger grooves in fore-end. Sling swivels. Metal carbine butt. Also known as Second Model Winder according to Flayderman's. Note: The Winchester Model 1885 High Wall is one of the strongest and most respected single-shot rifles ever made, designed by John Moses Browning and prized for its ability to handle powerful cartridges with remarkable accuracy

Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with noticeable thinning areas, handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood throughout. Action good. Dark bore.
