Spencer Repeating Arms Saddle Ring Carbine with Brass Tacks.Serial no. 44862, .54 caliber, 22-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Saddle ring. Smooth hardwood stock and fore-end. Decorative Indian brass tacks. Sling swivel. Metal buttplate. Seven notches to base of stock.
