Description
Spencer Repeating Arms 1865 Saddle Ring Carbine.Serial no. 48737, .52 caliber, 22-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Metal carbine butt with tube magazine. Sling swivel.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore. The Bill Bentham Collection.
