Description
Marlin Model 39 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. S4170, .22 caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear buckhorn sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened receiver, hammer and lever. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end, with gold-plated accents. Checkered factory hard rubber buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scattered dings and scuffs present to wood. Noticeable loss to base of butt. Action good. Strong bore. Tom Mixon Collection
