Description
Marciante Blue Streak Model 1885 High Wall Falling Block Rifle. NVSN, .22 Blue Streak (5.6x52mmR), 26 1/2-inch heavy round barrel. Blued with Monte Carlo style walnut stock with ebony fore end cap. Underside of barrel beneath the hand guard marked Marciante with a 67, Trenton, N.J., with an Oct. 7, 1879 patent date on lower tang. Mounted with 12 Power Litschert telescopic sight. This particular cartridge is also known as the .22 Savage High-Power. As of 2007, this type of ammunition has been scarce and almost unavailable. Condition: Light wear to finish and stock, otherwise excellent.Auction Info
