Only 203 Iron Frame Henry Rifles Made.

Iron Frame Henry Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 267 [barrel, upper and lower tang screws, left side of lower tang, stock under upper tang, buttplate screws and buttplate], .44 rimfire caliber, 24 1/4-inch octagonal barrel with standard blade front and receiver-mounted ladder rear sights. Graduated to 1,000 yards. Base of sight marked: 300. Varnished walnut stock with rounded buttplate. Sold together with 4-piece hardwood cleaning rod. According to Wiley Sword in "The Historic Henry Rifle" only 203 iron frame Henry rifles were manufactured. Page 85 has a list of 85 that have been reported. Serial number 267 is on that list.

Condition: Very Good to Fine. Traces of blue on the barrel. The balance a mottled blue-gray finish with scattered staining. Bright bore with scattered patches of moderate pitting. Light to moderate wear overall.
