Description
First Year Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 1261, .40-82 caliber, 25-1/2-inch octagonal barrel with front blade sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent buttplate. Manufactured in 1886.Condition: Good. Metal has been cleaned throughout. Faint traces of bluing in protected areas. Scratches, tool mars and pitting throughout metal. Possibly replaced trigger. Wood with scattered scratches, dents and bruises. Action is tight. Bright bore.
