Serial no. 1305, .40 caliber, 28-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Dust cover. Blued and case-hardened finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Metal buttplate. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 7917 / MEMORIAL.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear and pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action crisp. Strong bore.
