Japanese Type 38 Bolt Action Military Rifle. Serial no. 57656, 6.5mm, 31 1/2-inch barrel with standard sights. Blued finish. Tokyo arsenal proofs. Hook safety. Straight bolt toggle. Varnished hardwood stock and armguard. Numeral 77 painted on right side of buttstock. Early style sling mounts. Modern leather sling.Condition: Fair to good. Retaining approximately 30-40% finish mixed with brown patina. Scattered light pitting. Ground mon. Wood with wear and scattered marks. Action good. Bore fair to good.
