Manufactured Spring of 1862.

Iron Frame Henry Lever Action Rifle.
Serial no. 119 [barrel, buttplate screws and buttplate], .44 rimfire caliber, 24 1/4-inch octagonal barrel with standard blade front and ladder rear sight. Graduated to 800 yards. Standard New Haven address. Receiver is cut for a rear sight. Varnished walnut stock with rounded buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir and four piece cleaning rod.

Manufactured Spring of 1862. According to Wiley Sword in "The Historic Henry Rifle" only 203 iron frame Henry rifles were manufactured. Page 85 has a list of 85 that have been reported. Serial number 119 is on that list.

Condition. Very good to fine retaining approximately 40-50% original blue finish fading to gray. Bore is very good showing light wear.
