Boxed Winchester Model 9422 Cherokee Commemorative Lever Action Rifle.
Serial no. CKF1865, .22 caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued and gold-plated finish. Machine engraved scroll and Cherokee scenes to each side of receiver. Left side marked: TRAIL OF TEARS - 1839. Right side of barrel marked: Cherokee carbine. Smooth walnut stock and fore-end. Inlaid Cherokee medallion to right side of stock. Blued bullet trap to base of stock. Contained in fitted foam box with string tag, literature and pasteboard sleeve.

Condition: Excellent. Overall showing light handling wear. Action crisp. Bright bore. Noticeable age and storage wear to sleeve. Damage to one end of styrofoam.
