Description
American Custom Gunmakers Guild 1991 Gun of the Year.
Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Custom Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 114173, .30-06 caliber, 24-inch round match barrel with adjustable v-notch express rear and hooded front sight. Blued finish. Receiver tapped and drilled for a scope. Beautifully figured exhibition-grade dark walnut pistol grip stock with integral cheek rest, scalloped fore-arm and finely checkered in floral borders at the wrist and sculpted fore-arm. Casehardened grip cap with screw in cover. Sling eyes. Decelerator rubber recoil pad. Customized from a pre-64 Model 70. According to consignor notes, this gun was 1991 American Custom Gunmakers Guild, gun of the year.

Condition: Excellent. Exhibiting exceptional workmanship, especially the stock. Small hairline crack to wrist of stock. Excellent mechanical condition and with a bright bore.
