Description
U.S. Springfield Model 1892 Krag Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 23308. .30-40 Krag. 30-inch barrel with fixed front sight and Model 1896 rear sight. Metal parts blued; receiver casehardened. Left side of receiver marked "U.S. 1894 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 23308". Walnut stock cut down to carbine length. Barley visible inspector cartouche and a faint circle "P" in the wood behind the trigger guard. Metal buttplate with trapdoor for the cleaning rod.
Condition: Good. Metal with an overall brown patina with traces of case color on the receiver. Bore bright with moderate wear. Mechanically sound.
