Description
U.S. Springfield Krag Model 1898 Carbine. Serial no. 125365, .30-40 caliber, 22-inch barrel with post and blade front and 2000 yard flip up rear sight. Parkerized finish. Straight grain, two-piece finger groove stock with hand guard. Flat steel butt plate with compartment. Condition: Very good as configured. Retaining most of a later parkerized finish. Rear sight without C markings. Wood has been sanded. No visible cartouche. Repairs at wrist. Scattered stains under fore-arm. Bore good with moderate pitting.Auction Info
