Description

U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle.
Serial no. 1282540, .30-06 caliber, 24-inch barrel with adjustable rear sight and blade front sight. All metal parts with a matte-military finish. Barrel marked "S.A. / [ordnance bomb] / 11-18". Walnut stock with checkered metal buttplate fitted with trap. Sling loops and stacking loop present. 1913 dated inspector's cartouche stamped on the left side of the stock with faint circle "P" firing proof on the underside of the wrist. This example with a P. J. O'Hare rear sight cover and brass muzzle cover. Sold with a leather military sling.

Condition: Excellent. Modest wear to metal parts with only minimal wear to stock. Bore gray with some wear.
