Description
Sporterized U.S. Model 1903 Springfield by Remington with Telescopic Sight. Serial no. 3192793, .30-06 caliber, 24-inch barrel dated 6-42 and with added front band. Weaver 4x telescopic sight and Lyman flip up rear sight. Parkerized finish. Varnished walnut stock with S.A./H cartouche and rear sling swivel. Checkered steel buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Condition: Good as configured. Metal a smooth gray patina with signs of having been chemically cleaned. Stock good as altered. Forearm shortened and repair to right side. Long sliver chip to left side of stock. Barrel fits loosely in stock. Optics are clear. Action crisp. Strong bore with light wear.Auction Info
