Description
Russian Mosin-Nagant 1937 Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet.Serial no. 42748 [barrel], 121167 [bolt] and 35229 [base of receiver], 7.62mm caliber, 29 3/4-inch barrel with standard military sights. Blued finish. Top marked: (star) / 1937 and MADE IN / U.S.S.R. Smooth walnut straight stock with sling swivels. Metal cleaning rod and buttplate. 17-inch socket bayonet. Acquisition number 40 on top of fore-arm.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Few minor scuffs present to wood. Action good. Strong bore. Some thinning to relief edges of bayonet.
