Mauser Commercial Model 1898 Bolt Action Rifle. Serial No. 122388, 8.15 x 46 caliber, 29 1/2-inch barrel standard front sight and adjustable target rear sight, two barrel bands, bayonet lug, cleaning rod and muzzle cover. All visible numbers matching. Mauser banner on the receiver ring. Commercial blue finish. Military-style walnut stock with finger grooves and flat metal buttplate. Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 95% commercial finish. Bright bore. Stock duffel cut under the rear barrel band. Stock with light wear and may have been re-varnished.Auction Info
