Lot of Two British Enfield Bolt Action Rifles. Comprising: 1) Enfield No. 1 Mark III Bolt Rifle and Bayonet. Serial no. 7287, .303 caliber, 24 ½-inch barrel with standard military sights. Blued finish. Collar dated 1916. All visible numbers matching but the bolt appears force matched. Retains magazine cutoff. Hardwood stock with brass buttplate, sling swivels, stacking swivel and bayonet lug. Accompanied by a 1907 dated Wilkinson made Pattern 1907 bayonet and scabbard. 2) Savage Made No. 4 Mk. I Bolt Action Rifle. Serial no. 70C2262, .303 caliber, 24 ½-inch barrel with standard military sights. Blued/Parkerized finish. Hardwood stock with brass buttplate. Factory refurbished.
Condition: 1) Very good as refurbished. Mechanically sound with a good bore. 2) Very good as refurbished. Displays the usual factory electric pencil markings and moderate signs of usage. Mechanically sound with a clean bore.
